The K&N’s Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2014 by K&N’s – a founding pillar and beacon for Pakistan’s Poultry Industry - with the intention of selflessly assisting the less fortunate citizens of Pakistan by providing them support in the field of healthcare, education and nutrition.

The Foundation is set up under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984.

To provide sustainable healthcare, quality education and nutrition, to the less fortunate, deserving strata of Pakistan, thus playing our role in giving back to the social fabric of our country.

Our Projects

The Khair-un-Nisa Eye Hospital, Karachi, was established in 2016. It is a fully equipped modern facility providing quality eye care, surgical and otherwise, with special focus on the treatment of underprivileged patients.
The Hospital also sends out teams of qualified doctors to various educational institutions, providing free eye check-up and complete follow up treatment to those in need.
The facility maintains a high standard of investigative tests like OCT, FOV, Ultrasound, B-Scan, Fundus Photo, Angiography etc, as well as high-end therapeutic procedures like Argon and YAG Laser, at par with high-end eye healthcare facilities of the country.
The Hospital also undertakes community outreach programmes of school health services to the underprivileged segments of society.
For Human Resource Development, there is an Optometry Internship Programme, where fresh optometry graduates are upscaled and given hands-on experience enabling them to practice in far-flung areas of the country.
This not only provides the younger generation an opportunity to explore and work in their field of interest, but also develops in them humility and empathy for fellow-citizenry.

Al-Furqan Welfare Organization operates various branches of Al-Furqan School Systems, from Nursery to Class X, under the Sindh Board of Education.
The K&N’s Foundation supports Al-Furqan School in running its P.E.C.H.S branch, where approximately 300 students from underprivileged areas receive quality education, while being provided free books and uniforms along with healthy snacks. The branch is equipped with a science & computer lab. The students and staff receive periodic medical and eye check-ups.

The Foundation has supported The Garage School, a non-profit organization looking after the educational and nutritional needs of the children of Shah Rasool and Neelum Colony areas, in Karachi. The School operates classes from Nursery to Class X.
With assistance from K&N’s Foundation, The Garage School has constructed a custom-made facility dedicating a premises solely for Secondary School children.
